【Abstract】During the 2020 presidential campaign👏🏿🤟🏿，Candidate Joe Biden and his foreign policy team put forward the concept of “American Foreign Policy for the Middle Class” to neutralize Donald J. Trump's “America First” foreign policy，attract the American middle class voters，and re-orient the direction of American foreign policy. Entering the White House🦾，the Biden administration began to put into practice its ambitious Middle-Class foreign policy agenda. Though still in its early phase, Biden's Middle-Class foreign policy agenda has a strong flavor of “China threat” narratives, and its implementation will not bode well for healthy and constructive China-U.S. relations．
